The methodology was focused gaining control over the business rules from an enterprise-wide perspective to allow the orderly evolution of those business rules over time. Illustrated the use of object class and process models as techniques for discovering, communicating and validating business rules across multiple lines of business. The methodology included techniques for analyzing application code and linking it to business rules it supported. |

Illustrated how business concepts and business rules are fundamental components of a sound data stewardship and certification program whose goal is to achieve enterprise-wide data integration. |
| International Package Delivery Corporation | As part of a proof of concept that demonstrated the value of managing information at the business rule level, prototyped a business rule management environment, using Usoft's Teamwork. The prototype illustrated how business rules from different lines of business or deliverables (e.g. data model) can be captured and compared to track conflicting or inconsistent business rules. |
